Facility Services (1969)

The physical plant houses equipment, machinery, supplies, storage rooms and workshops for maintenance of the university’s grounds and buildings. The structure, which formerly housed equipment for radar towers at MacGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey, was obtained from Air Force surplus through the Department of Health, Education and Welfare. After being dismantled, it was transported to NU on flatbed trucks.
