In 2010, Niagara University put the finishing touches on a spectacular performance space commensurate with the extremely high quality of its undergraduate theatre program.

Renovations to the William P. and Marie Leary Theatre and construction of the new Elizabeth Ann Clune Center for Theatre furnished the acclaimed program – and the patrons of its professional level productions – with an attractive lobby area, a new stage, new seating for approximately 130 theatre goers, improved acoustics and lighting and full air conditioning. New spaces for sets, costumes, dressing rooms and rehearsal areas were also constructed, as was a handsome entrance and two-level atrium replete with stairs and an elevator.
